Job Description

Monitoring of the total product flow; shift summary for communication to department manager and other shifts; assist with supervision and training of hourly employees, maintaining non-union status, shift scheduling and analysis of maintenance operating conditions.

• Major challenges of this position are to assist in supervising shifts and produce a consistent high quality chips in sufficient quantity to meet company inventory needs; assist in supervising employees in a non-union environment and be able to recognize opportunities to improve/correct quality and cost.


• Performance can best be measured by progress in knowledge of production processes, demonstrated leadership skills, the quality produced; cost of production, pounds processed per man hour worked; sanitation of the facility; and employee morale.
